Chirag Patel’s former experience and training, along with his dedication and hard work since the launch of Shimco’s new division in 2020, has earned him the lead role as Operations Manager, Shimco Special Processes.
CAMBRIDGE, Ontario, February 16, 2023 – Shimco, an award-winning, world-wide leader in the manufacture of precision parts, gap-management solutions and specialized coatings has announced the promotion of Chirag Patel from Quality and Engineering Manager Special Processes to Operations Manager Special Processes. Chirag has been a vital member of the Shimco team in this division since inception and has played a key role in the company’s recent successes.
In his Previous role as Special Processes Quality and Engineering Manager, Chirag was responsible for ensuring that Shimco met all the requirements for Nadcap approval. Thanks to his expertise and attention to detail, Shimco received Nadcap approval on its first attempt. He also worked tirelessly to secure approvals from Bombardier and Airbus Canada for their special processes, once again achieving approvals on the first attempt.
As Shimco’s new Operations Manager Special Processes, Chirag will be responsible for overseeing the company’s special processes division.
These responsibilities will include managing the team responsible for meeting the ongoing Nadcap requirements and securing additional customer approvals.
